GCSE Art Pupils Visit Duncairn Arts Centre
As part of the new CCEA specification for Art and Design GCSE, Duncairn Arts and Cultural centre have designed a programme for schools in North Belfast to give pupils the opportunity to meet with professionals working in the creative industries. Pupils saw how the skills they are using in their GCSE course can be applied to the real world of work. They met practising artists who work in fashion, film, glass making and print. They also had the opportunity to see works of Art from the NI art council private collection. It was a very enjoyable and informative day.
